 CyberAuctions – Data Ownership

The cyberauctions platform supports the NAA position that all auction companies small or large should own and have control of their auction data. This includes details on your bidders, buyers, sellers, and auction result details. Auction companies should be able to communicate however and whenever they chose to with these bidders and sellers.

The cyberauctions platform does provide a connected marketplace that auction companies may connect to at their option or the auction companies may have a standalone bidding platform on its own. Auction companies may use their own domain names or sub-domains and do not have to be a sub domain of cyberauctions.com to run our platform.

We do provide the customers / bidders the ability to use their log in credentials and credit card info for any of the sites that use the cyberauctions platform. Once any customer bids at your site no matter where they first registered, they will show up as a customer of yours. Customers can decide if they want to receive marketing e-mails from any of the auction companies where they place bids.

Auction companies have the ability on their own to instantly block any customer from bidding. This block only pertains to the auction company’s bidding site only.

For customers to have the ability to bid on any Powered by CyberAuctions web site, they must enter a credit card into the system. These credit cards are hosted under cyberauctions.com Paytrace account and shared with all sellers on the cyberauctions platform. Each auction company will have a Paytrace.net account. Paytrace is a gateway software the connects to each bidding site and the auction company’s credit card processor. When a customer pays an invoice online that transaction will show up in the auction companies Paytrace account and will only be accessible to that auction company. Auction companies can process refunds on their own through their Paytrace account.

The cyberauctions platform never touches any auction company’s auction proceeds. All online payments are deposited directly into the auction company’s bank accounts.

The cyberauctions platform has many exports readily available for auction companies to have access to their data. The cyberauctions platform runs the same application for all auction companies. Static pages and elements are available for edit by the auction company with built in word processors.
